I got this book for my 6yr old granddaughter. She loves it. We take her camping with us and she is already reading books like this. I would recommend the Amelia Bedelia books for reading fun for this age group.

I bought this for my 7 year old newphew and he loved it. He an early reader and was so proud of himself for reading such a big book all by himself. He laughed like crazy when he knew how she was going to mess things up. Some of the phrases are a little dated, so we had to explain a few things as we went along, but it was definitly a hit.
