I would not even give them 1 star, They list products that they do not have in stock, and then give a bunch of excuses as to why they have not shipped the item before finally admitting that they did not have the item in stock. I never got my item which i orderd a month and a half before a camping trip and was told ” Mabey you should have ordered it further in advance of your trip”. I would not recomend anyone purchase anything from Ultimate Depot they lie about products they have in stock and when you do have a problem it is like pulling teeth to get anyone from customer service to contact you back. They do not answer the phone when you call so you have to leave a message for them and it took a combination of e-mails and phone calls before i finally got ahold of anyone.

This bed loses air the first time you use it. Even if the valves are tight and secure. It was comfortable when it was inflated, but when you wake up in the middle of the night sleeping on the floor, or ground it isn’t very comfortable. Try another brand.

As I shared with my son about the car camping trip my wife and I took the story started with the first night out and the new Coleman mattress deflating twice during the night, he said he had the same experience with his. During the trip I looked around to see the many other Coleman camping products that we use and have for years so I share this story to help others avoid this one product. Our other six nights were saved by none other than the biggest of the big box stores and a battery powered pump up mattress that I would endorse but it does not seem appropriate here on the Amazon site. By the way, Amazon is great on the return and they continue to be our main source for shopping.

  • The design has numerous pockets and in one of those pockets, the seam gave away and a fully blown bed leaks all its air in 1 hour. Its not like we punctured it or something.

    Only last 2 weeks. POS.

Our cheap Walmart bag lasted for years. Thought I was upgrading.

Took it to our local ‘authorized seller’ for a replacement and we were turned away. The owner couldn’t be bothered with these beds since they get so many complaints. He wanted me to ship it directly to them. That will cost more than the bed!

So, in addition to have a malfunctioning product, we cannot claim the warranty coz the local authorized store refused to accept the return.

I’ve been dealing with this mattress for a couple years, and after tonight, I feel like I owe it to someone to share my experience with this dreadful thing. My sister owned this mattress for less than a year, using it indoors once every couple of months for when company stayed over. After a while, it started losing more and more air, to the point where you’d wake up on hard floor in the middle of the night. She got fed up with it and was preparing to throw it away, but I saved it from the trash, thinking that a patch would solve the problem and make it usable again.

Now here I am, a couple years later, with a mattress that looks like it came out of Dr. Frankenstein’s lab. I’ve used it maybe four times over the past two years (all inside), and just finished patching the seventh hole. Yes, SEVENTH. The top material is hardly what I would call durable, and the dimples that you can see in the picture are prone to small holes/tears that develop all by themselves (and I’m only 125 lbs, so that tells you how much stress it can handle). And because these stress points are along a crease, patching is an absolute nightmare. When I inflated the mattress earlier this evening (using the Coleman pump, which is loud enough to wake an entire apartment building), it had already lost a considerable amount of air after just two hours. I re-inflated the mattress, then started pushing down in different areas with my head just above the mattress, listening for the tell-tale hiss where it was leaking. It certainly didn’t take long – after pushing down in one area, there was a loud “WHOOSH” sound, and one of the circular depressions on the top ripped completely free of the cover, leaving a hole the size of my fist. I managed to reseal it using an ungodly amount of duct tape, but as soon as my company leaves tomorrow (the same sister who wanted to throw the mattress away, as fate would have it), Frankenmattress is going straight to the dumpster. Buy this thing if you dare, but really, you shouldn’t be encouraging this kind of crap in the marketplace.
